255 George Street

Purity of Form and Materiality

The 255 George Street wayfinding and signage project is a display of design that perfectly complements the iconic architecture of the Sydney CBD. With a focus on purity of form and materiality, the design pays homage to the building's striking external and internal stones while creating a seamless dialogue with the interior design. From the ground floor to the mezzanine and upper levels, the wayfinding elements guide visitors through the space with ease and elegance, enhancing their experience at every turn. The result is a visual feast that not only serves a functional purpose but also adds to the beauty of this historic building.

Form—A Studio acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land on which we live, think and design, the Gadigal people of the Eora nation. We admire and recognise their ancient wisdom, spirituality and connection with Country. We pay respect to Aboriginal Elders, past, present and future, and we are determined to listen, learn and understand in order to reinforce the messages of Their Stories to bring recognition and equality through design.
